Appointment Checklist

Thank you for choosing Higgins for your upcoming service appointment! Below you’ll find a list of what to expect from us before, during and after your appointment. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

The Day Before

What We Need From You:

Please stop using your hearth appliance 24 hours before your appointment. We cannot work on a hot stove or chimney/vent due to safety regulations.

Please have your driveway and walkways cleared and shoveled, if necessary.

If there are specific instructions on where to park or what door to knock on, please let us know ahead of time.

Please remove fragile items within 6 feet of the unit or area we will be working on.

What You Can Expect From Us:

We will be contacting you via phone or email to remind you of your appointment.

We will confirm the address and best phone number to call or text prior to your appointment.

We will ask you ahead of time if you have any special concerns for your visit.

The Day Of

What We Need From You:

Please keep kids and pets in another room during the appointment.

Please maintain 6 feet social distancing from us during the appointment.

Watch us work! You can learn a lot about maintenance and safety for your stove from watching.

What You Can Expect From Us:

We will call you 15-30 minutes prior to our arrival (or more if requested). Your appointment may be at any time in window we have previously provided for you.

We can wear masks upon request.

At the end of the appointment, we will go over exactly what we did and why.
